Happy Mount Park Summer Concerts 2010 |

We are nearing the end of this seasons free summer concerts in Happy Mount Park - still one or two left though. We have been remarkably lucky weatherwise this year, most Sundays have been fine....thank you all for your loyal support and we hope we have provided some good entertainment for you - look forward to seeing you all again next year...

MBBA News.
Following
careful discussions, the Trustees have
decided to press ahead with plans for a new structure within Morecambe Brass Band Association.
In order to
meet the requirements laid out in our new constitution, as from February 1st 2010
the Youth Band and Brass Ensemble will merge, forming Morecambe Bay Brass under the leadership of
Andrew Warriner.
Rehearsals
for the new group will be held on Tuesday evening, 7.15pm until 8.45pm in the Band headquarters.
Our Secretary stated, “With the creation
of Morecambe Bay Brass, MBBA has once
again a second band capable of taking on engagements in their own right. Under MD Andrew Warriner all players will be
able to prosper and develop in Morecambe Bay Brass
until for some, opportunities will arise for them to join the Senior Band.”

information.
