As you can see, the band are busy with their pre-Christmas playing schedule, seen here braving the extremely cold weather to bring pleasure to shoppers in St.Nicholas Arcade, Lancaster this morning (Dec 6th 2008)

The band competed again today, in the Northern Open Championships held in St. Helens, achieving Second Place in the Third Section, giving another fine rendition of 'Dark Side of the Moon'.

Much to the delight of all, Dav Morrow won the individual award for Best Trombone Player for his performance on Bass Trombone. Well done Dav from the whole band!!!

In the coming weeks the band will be rehearsing hard for their many Christmas engagements (details on the Engagements page) - we look forward to seeing you all in the near future....

 An Evening of Remembrance

   The Senior Band warmly invite you to their concert, which will be held at The Dome in Morecambe on Saturday 8th November at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £6.oo and can be ordered in advance from band members or by calling Jan Marshall - tel 61356. We look forward to your company on this special evening.  

The band are once again rejoicing after scooping First Place on Sunday 12th October in Fleetwood at the North West Counties Brass Band Association Championships. Playing 'Dark Side of the Moon' by Paul Lovatt Cooper the band scored 180 points to take the Carol Baker Memorial Trophy much to the delight of all, particularly Musical Director Andrew Warriner! Well done everyone...!
