Morecambe Brass Band hold this year's Easter Concert at the Platform in Morecambe at 7:30pm on Saturday 22nd March 2008. The band will be playing a new programme featuring themes from a number of popular films including extracts from Pirates of the Caribbean.

Tickets are £7.00 available from the Ticket office at the Platform.
And the doors open at 7:00pm ready for 7:30 pm commencement.

The band are busy practising for their first visit to the Guildhall for several years.

Secretary Bernard Vause says "There is never much time between Christmas and the February Contest to prepare, however such is the growing spirit & confidence in the band that under their former Championship Conductor Andrew Warriner the players can't wait to return to the Guildhall....the scene of their National Third Section win in 2002."

Taking advantage of the fortnights break from rehearsals a few intrepid souls made it back to Headquarters on 2nd January to give the band room a much needed face lift.
